Designed specifically for HK 7.62 "AR platform" rifles, this reaction rod is machined from hardened steel to provide a stable interface for servicing muzzle devices and factory barrel nuts without stressing the receiver. It is compatible with the HK 417, G28, MR762A1, MR762A4, and MR308.

The rod slides in through the rear of the upper to positively engage the barrel extension, allowing you to secure the assembly in a bench vise for high-torque operations. This setup is essential for safely timing, removing, or installing components while preventing receiver twist and damage.

The tool features a cross-hatched surface for a superior grip in the vise and a passivated coating to resist corrosion. We recommend applying a coat of gun oil upon receipt to maintain the finish.
