    These are Brownells HK MR762/417 lower receivers with our M110A1 or 417A2 style, receiver modifications! These factory spec receivers are machined to include the ambidextrous cutouts needed for the correct HK M110 or A2 type, ambidextrous controls. Also the “blocking features” are welded to the receiver and shaped out, just like the factory “blocking features”.

    Typically 7075 aluminum is not weldable and tends to ball up or crack when welded. It’s common knowledge amongst welding professionals that this type of welding can’t be done. However, we have developed proprietary welding techniques that do allow us to effectively and properly weld these features to the 7075 receivers.

    Because of the welding procedures and cleanup afterwards, anodizing is not an option on these. All receivers are refinished using Duracoat Firearms Finish. No other finishes are available at this time. M110A1 “Green/Brown” mat, for an anodized look.
